Being people-first

Being people-first

It’s not easy being people-first in the tech industry, but I have always been a ‘follow your heart’ person. I don’t come from a corporate background, I am and will always be a designer at heart. That allows me to bring a non-corporate point of view to business decisions. Some might say that it puts me at a disadvantage, but I believe it’s my strength.

I am not comfortable embracing something just because it’s the norm. Every decision we make as a company must pass through a human litmus test, and every policy we draft must be people first.

And while we embrace new technology, the intent behind that technology should matter more. In this always-evolving tech world, I believe it’s crucial to preserve the human element. We must cultivate a culture where genuine human connections can thrive, not get fascinated by an automated, artificially intelligent world.

Does that mean I’m against chatbots or AI? Absolutely not. If and when we automate any process, especially those relating to internal communication at Rayden, I am sure that we will strive to maintain the integrity

of human connection. Because this unwavering commitment to putting people first will always guide our approach.

I have always been a ‘follow your heart’ person. If that means going against the grain, so be it!
