Around 15 members of Rayden Hiker’s Club went on a short trek to Korigad fort, located 20 kms away from Lonavala in Pune. Monsoon was about to come to a close, and the trail was surrounded by lush greenery, towering trees and scenic views of the neighboring hills. Our hikers took breaks along the way and replenished themselves with chilled nimbu paani. As they reached the peak, they were welcomed by the impressive fort and its structures. And the panoramic view of the valley below was a sight to behold! They walked around for a while to admire the architecture and to take in the beauty of the landscape. It was a great bonding experience for them all and they returned home with happy memories and a sense of accomplishment.
